Four Archmere students signed letters of intent last week to play Division I sports:
- Ben Creekmore ’14 signed to swim for University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A four-year member of the Archmere swim team, Ben has set school records in 200 yard freestyle, 500 yard freestyle, 100 yard backstroke, and 100 yard butterfly. He is also a member of the USA Swimming Scholastic All-America team.
- Sean Deely ’14 signed to play baseball for the University of Delaware. Sean earned All-State Honors in two positions, First Team as a pitcher and Honorable Mention at first base. He has also earned All-Conference Honors as both a sophomore and junior.
- Katelyn Payne ’14 signed to play lacrosse at Saint Joseph’s University. She is a multi-sport athlete who has earned All-State Honors in lacrosse along with All-Conference Honors in both cross country and basketball.
- Claire Orzel ’14 signed to row at Boston College. Claire played volleyball from freshman through junior year before focusing on crew full-time.
