Daylesford Abbey and Cabrini College have joined together to offer a very interesting lecture series this fall called The “Breakfast Talks.” Offered after daily 8 a.m. Mass at the Abbey, the lectures focus on ecclesiastical topics addressed from the perspectives of our modern world.
The first lecture on Thursday, September 26, features Catholic Social Teaching expert Dr. John Burke, Ph.D., and is titled “Using Augustine and Aquinas to Explore Political Theory.”
The second lecture of the series set for Wednesday, November 6, features Dr. Nick Rademacher, Ph.D. of Cabrini College. Dr. Rademacher’s talk is titled “Connecting With God, Self, and Community in a Hyper-Connected World.”
Both events cost $10 per person and will include light morning refreshments. Print, fill out, and mail the registration form below to register for the events. The form also provides more information regarding the specifics of each lecture.
