Archmere’s 27th Annual Memorial Mass was held in The Patio today at 10:00 AM. After Communion Mr. Carl Campion ’76 read the names of the 28 alumni, faculty, and staff who have died since the last Memorial Mass (March 8, 2015). A total of 113 faculty and staff have died, 50 of them Norbertines and 10 of them alumni; a total of 608 alumni, alumnae, and students have also died. All of their names were printed in the Mass booklet and shown during a video presentation after the reading of the 28 names.

At Mass we heard God say to Moses at the Burning Bush, “Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground”. The Patio is truly “holy ground,” made so in great measure by those we remembered today. Through the mercy of God may they rest in peace.
