Kristin Mumford ’96, Director of Admissions
After she graduated from Archmere in 1996, Kristin attended the University of Delaware and graduated with a B.A. in Biology. While at UD, Kristin played on the Women’s Varsity Tennis Team and earned a conference title and all-conference honors, and she also volunteered as a student fundraiser. She worked in the pharmecuetical and medical sales industry for Wyeth and Roche Diagnostics for a combined 12 years.
Her desire to work in education brought her back to her Alma Mater in July of 2012. She considers her 1st year at Archmere the best experience of her career so far!
Kristin lives in Hockessin with her husband Mark and their two (very cute) children, Meghan and Luke. She still loves competing in tennis, and also plays paddle and enjoys crossfit.
Drew Cocco ’04, Associate Director of Admissions
After graduating from Archmere in 2004, Drew enrolled in Temple University’s Honors Program and graduated with a B.A. in English Literature and a B.A. in American Studies. While at Temple, Drew worked as an academic support specialist with the football program and as an ESL instructor in North Philadelphia.
He went on to teach AP English and British Literature at Cardinal O’Hara High School for two years, but always knew that he wanted to return to Archmere to teach. Since the fall of 2010, Drew has taught senior electives and sophomore American Literature, moving into the role of Associate Director of Admissions in July 2012 while continuing to teach.
In 2013, he completed his M.Ed at Cabrini College and initiated Archmere’s first rugby program.
Drew currently lives in Media, PA with his lovely wife Ashley, who also teaches English at Archmere. He enjoys playing music, spending time with friends, and playing rugby for a local men’s club.
